Other low chill apple trees for the South are Golden Dorsett apple trees, a mutation of the Golden Delicious apple tree, the Red Fuji apple and the Red Yates apple trees. Crabapple pollinator apple trees are best to pollinate apple trees, because crabapple tree pollen grows over long flowering periods. The Dolgo crabapple tree and the Transcendent crabapple tree are good pollinators.
