Orange-Satsuma Tree

The Satsuma Orange tree is a semi-dwarf tree and is easy to peel and the orange sections easily separate for fresh eating. The juicy, sweet fruit of the Satsuma Orange tree is high in quality with few seeds.

The devastating cold of 1983 killed most of the Satsuma Orange trees that were growing commerical in Al., Ga., S.C., and NC. The below temperatures of 1989-1990 in La., Ms., and Tx. , killed all Satsuma Oranges that were out of doors.
